RIVETS- COLD CONNECTIONS

Riveting is a method of attaching pieces together without the use of glues or soldering. Just you and your hammer.  In this class you will learn several different techniques of riveting.  We will begin by exploring different methods of texturing metals and then use these pieces to make a fabulous bracelet of your own design.

METALWORK, RIVETS AND RESIN

This is an expanded resins class. We explore metal texturing, and riveting along with the resins.
We will create our own frames, bezels and explore found objects that work as vessels for resin.  These pieces can be turn into amazing one of a kind jewelry.  There will be a variety of wire and metal techniques used in this class.

RESIN- WIRE FORMS

In this class we will explore making our own resin forms using wire.
These pieces can be turn into amazing one of a kind jewelry. This is a class that even the beginner wire worker can be sucessful!

1/2 day class

BANGLES WITH A MESSAGE

Make these bangles separate or as one.....it doesn’t matter either way they’re fun! Add your own personal message. Skills that will be taught and used in this class will be coiling, sawing, stamping, texturing and wire wrapping.

No experience necessary.

This is a three hour class focusing on riveted rings. We will texture metal cut out shapes and form our rings. Using a riveting techinque
you will attach fun and funky pieces. Go out of class sporting your new fun ring!

Make your own custom charms! Texture your metal, stamp your words and use a quick and eazy technique for riveting it all together!

This is a fun class for those with metal experiance and those without.

1/2 day class

Learn to create this piece using metal texturing, stamping, sawing and riveting techniques.  Using these skills you will create a 3-D framed pendant.  Each one will tell a different story….each one so unique.

Learn to make this Riveted cup component using metal texturing, stamping and dapping techniques.  Then along with some wire wrapping pieces, they will be riveted to a band.  Finish up by learning and attaching the classic chain maille Byzantine chain.  Fun to make, fun to wear!

In this class you will learn the ancient technique of viking knit and then take it steps further by learning different embellishing and finishing techniques.  In this class students should be able to finish a bracelet length of weave and choose a variety of embellishing techniques and finish off your bracelet by making a hand made clasp.

  This is a full day class.

As they say every picture tells a story and in this class it is true!  We will make this fun journal pendant starting with the front page using pictures of your choice and then the following pages to tell the story.  Using metal texturing, stamping, riveting techniques you will create this fun one of a kind piece that can be worn or hung on a wall.

Using metal texturing and riveting techniques, learn to capture a piece with out holes. This works great on rocks, cabs, beach glass, etc...all those pieces you have been hanging on to, but didn't know how to incorporate in to your work. Add your own personal message and embellish with wire work to make each piece one of a kind.

In this class we will create our own personal “tide pools” using metal, wire and assorted shells, pearls and crystals.  Learn to texture metal with several different methods, form cups and embellish to your hearts desire. This is a great class for the new to metal and wire as well as those that are looking to explore a new project.

Skill level: All

In this workshop you will texture metal discs and then learn to shape and rivet them to make a fabulous bracelet. Using techniques that require no flame, glues…just your hammer! Texture, stamp, rivet and wire wrap your way to a fun bracelet.

Pick your picture...a photo, picture from a magazine or book...what ever floats your boat! Then learn to saw, stamp, & rivet to make these one of a kind pieces into a fun one of a kind pendant you can show to all.

This is a class for those interested in an introduction to wire working or those that are looking to improve their skills.  In this class we will go over the tools required to do quality   work and their proper use.  Then we go on to learn the skills needed to create the components to make this great bracelet.

Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate

A girl can never have too many bracelets!  Whether you are a beginning wire worker or experienced you will find these not only fun to make, but fun to wear. 

Skill levels: Some wire working experiance recommended.

This class can also be done as a 1/2 day class with just one of the bracelets.

In this fun 3 hour class you will learn to create these fun pea pods that you can wear as a necklace or hang from your rear view mirror. Using metal texturing, forming and wire wrapping techniques you can create your own personal pod!

CAGE IT!

Do you have some special pieces that don’t have holes or holes too small to fit wire through?  If so, this is the class for you.  Learn different ways to make cages so that you can incorporate these pieces in your work.  Using the techniques in this class you will be able to add shells, cabs, buttons, stones, etc... to your work.

Skill level: Intermediate to Advanced

Create this wild and crazy bangle using wire wrapping, twisting
and turning skills. Finish off with wire weaving, wrapping and
metal stamping. Each and every bangle you make will be
completely unique...one of a kind.

Learn to create this incredible encrusted cuff bracelet where the word is: THERE IS NEVER TOO MUCH! Using a combination of wire forming, wire wrapping and wrapped eye loops you can adorn your piece with your favorite pearls and gemstones.

BYZANTINE CHAIN

In this 3 hour class you will learn to make this classic chain maille chain using a series of jump rings. We will also discuss several different options for making your own jump rings.

Learn to make this fun riveted pendant and hang it with a combination of wire wrapped components you will make and a unique bail you will rivet together. Metal texturing, sawing, riveting and wire wrapping will all be skills you will learn and use to do this fun project.

SIMPLY CHARMING- BRACELET
(Also called Charming)

Learn to create your own personalized charm bracelet by stamping your messages on metal and turning them into charms.  Make your own chain and finish off this bracelet with beads and assorted charms.  Here’s your chance to say it on your wrist.

Skill level: All

This is a great class to expand your wire working skills and move beyond the basics.  Learn to make this wire wrapped pendant piece and combine it with a variety of interesting chain links, a unique wire wrapped bead and a clasp to create a fabulous necklace.

Skill level: This class is for the wire worker that is comfortable with their tools and heavy gauge wire.
